When is the best time to go to the Philippines?
The Philippines is in the sphere of influence of the equator and therefore there is a 'wet' and 'dry' period. The wet season starts around mid-June and ends around mid-November. This means that the dry season runs from mid-November to mid-June. This is therefore the most appropriate period to visit the country.
The months of July and August often bring very reasonable weather and it is no problem to go to the Philippines.
The months of September and October are usually really bad for a vacation and we advise against going in those months.
The plane tickets are often extra high priced around the Christmas period and around our summer holiday (July and partly August). A visit is of course possible but there is a price tag.
