You fly from Amsterdam airport, or any other airport. with a scheduled flight of your own choice. Filitravel buys the ticket for you and the bill goes at the cost.
You will be met at Manila Airport and taken to your hotel in the old town. We have chosen The Bayleaf Intramuros, a hotel in the historic center of Manila. It is perfect to discover the sights of the city and the service is also perfect.
Day 3 to 5
You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Manila Airport. With a domestic flight you go to Legazpi in the south of the island of Luzon. From Legazpi you will be brought by car to your destination: the town of Donsol.
Donsol is known for the whale shark migration. These largest fish in the world have a natural trek through the islands of the Philippines in search of their food: plankton. The natural whale shark migration takes place in this area from mid-November to mid-May. In the month of February most Whale sharks can be admired here in their natural environment. The accommodation is provided at the Vitton Resort, which is located directly at the boarding point for excursions to these animals.
Day 6 to 9
From Donsol you will be taken to Legazpi airport and with a domestic flight you will go to the city of Cebu on the island of the same name. Here you will be met at the airport and a minibus will take you to the town of Moalboal on the west coast of the island of Cebu. A few active days start: in addition to the excellent diving possibilities, Moalboal offers the opportunity to stretch your legs with 'outdoor activities'. In groups you can climb and descend river gorges, mountain biking in the area and much more. You simply have to see the Kawasan waterfalls: a short walk through the forest brings you to this beautiful place. You stay right by the sea at the Tipolo Beach Resort and your host Jochen takes good care of your well-being.
Day 10 to 13
From Moalboal you will be taken by car to the small seaport of Sibulan and with a ferry you make the short crossing to the island of Negros. Here you will be met and driven to the Thalatta Resort on the south coast of the island.
Negros offers visitors a unique look at the 'original' Filpijnen: the island found its income from the cultivation of sugar cane and the worldwide consumption of sugar has declined sharply. Now people are busy finding other forms of existence.
Tourism focuses mainly on the coastal towns of this island: the dive sites are unique. The area around Apo Island is a marine nature reserve and seeing sea turtles is almost normal for divers and snorkelers. The Twin Lakes are the natural drinking water supply of the island and the rainforest around these lakes is breathtaking. The local market of the town of Malatapay should be seen if you are in the area.
Day 14 to 18
From the Thalatta resort you will be brought to the airport of the city of Dumaguete and with two domestic flights you will go to the town of Caticlan. From Caticlan you go by bus and boat to the right landing place on the island of Boracay. Boracay is known for the enormously white beaches and is counted among the 'top 10' of best beaches worldwide. In the evenings, the island becomes a nightlife paradise thanks to countless discos and restaurants and during the day you can fully enjoy beach fun. You should not go here if you are looking for tranquility: there are other places in the Philippines for that.
The nights are planned in the beautiful Nigi Nigi Nu Noos resort, a stay that lies directly on the beach. Because of the sheltered location you have a quiet stay in the crowds.
You will be taken by boat and bus to Caticlan airport and with a domestic flight you will return to Manila. Our driver will take you to the Bayleaf Intramuros hotel for a final night in the Philippines. You can also choose to stay the last night on the island of Bohol. That of course means that the next day will be a tough travel day.
Day 20 and 21
Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Manila airport for your international return flight. The next day you will arrive in your departure city again.
