You fly from Amsterdam airport, or any other airport. with a scheduled flight of your own choice. Filitravel buys the ticket for you and the bill goes at the cost.
You will be met at Manila Airport and taken to your hotel in the old town. We have chosen The Bayleaf Intramuros, a hotel in the historic center of Manila. It is perfect to discover the sights of the city and the service is also perfect.
Day 2 and 3
You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Manila Airport.
With a domestic flight, a course is set for Puerto Princesa on the island of Palawan. The hotel there is Acacia Tree Garden. It is located on the outskirts of the city: seaside towns are not suitable for a resort here. The sea is shallow on the spot.
Puerto Princesa is known for its underground river that can be sailed. It is a wonderful experience because the river has been left untouched on the inside. So there are no paths, lights etc.
Furthermore, Honda Bay, a cove of the sea, is very popular to visit for a day. There are several islands that are moored on and the closing is Sombrero Island, where you can enjoy a drink.
Day 5 to 9
From Puerto Princesa you head north with a minibus shuttle service. It is an adventurous journey of 5 to 6 hours on sometimes bad roads but those hardships are worth it. El Nido is located on the Bacuit Archipelago and the area is characterized by an overwhelmingly beautiful nature with blue lagoons, small islands and beaches and rising chalk cliffs. It is an ideal environment to fully immerse yourself in the omnipresent nature.
The El Nido Beach hotel is located in the village of El Nido itself, so in the evenings you can visit the company of others, go to a restaurant or entertain yourself in a different way.
Day 10 to 13
From El Nido you take a propeller flight to the city of Cebu. Here you will be met at the airport and a minibus will take you to the town of Moalboal on the west coast of the island of Cebu. A few active days start: in addition to the excellent diving possibilities, Moalboal offers the opportunity to stretch your legs with 'outdoor activities'. In groups you can climb and descend river gorges, mountain bike in the area and much more. You simply have to see the Kawasan waterfalls: a short walk through the forest brings you to this beautiful place. You stay right by the sea at the Tipolo Beach Resort and your host Jochen takes good care of your well-being.
Day 14 to 18
From the resort you will be taken to the seaport of the city of Cebu, followed by a fast boat to the island of Bohol. You will of course be taken from the seaport to your resort.
Bohol has a nice sandy beach with many resorts and restaurants and at the same time the interior has a lot to offer in the form of the Chocolate Hills, the Baclayon church, the Loboc river. Very special to see are the smallest monkeys in the world: the Tarsier monkeys. If you wish, you can go out to sea to see the dolphins or you can decide to sail a little further and watch the Whale Sharks.
The nights are planned at the Lost Horizon Resort on the beach of Alona Beach. It is a neat resort in the middle of the 'life' of Bohol. You can also choose to stay at the Linaw Beach Resort: the stay is a bit more luxurious and quiet, and is also located directly on the sea a short distance from the busy Alona Beach.
You will be taken to Bohol airport and with a domestic flight you will return to Manila. Our driver will take you to the Bayleaf Intramuros Hotel for a final night in the Philippines. You can also choose to stay the last night on the island of Bohol. That of course means that the next day will be a tough travel day.
Day 20 and 21
Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Manila airport for your international return flight. The next day you will arrive in your departure city again.
