You fly from Amsterdam airport, or any other airport. with a scheduled flight of your own choice. Filitravel buys the ticket for you and the bill goes at the cost.
You will be met at Manila Airport and taken to your hotel in the old town. We have chosen The Bayleaf Intramuros, a hotel in the historic center of Manila. It is perfect to discover the sights of the city and the service is also perfect.
Day 3 and 4
You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Manila Airport. With a domestic flight, a course is set for Puerto Princesa on the island of Palawan. The hotel there is Acacia Tree Garden on the outskirts of the city.
Puerto Princesa is known for its underground river that can be sailed. It is a wonderful experience because the river has been left untouched on the inside. So there are no paths, lights etc.
Furthermore, Honda Bay, a cove of the sea, is very popular to visit for a day. There are several islands that are moored on and the closing is Sombrero Island, where you can enjoy a drink.
Day 5 to 8
From Puerto Princesa you head north with a minibus shuttle service. It is an adventurous journey of 5 to 6 hours on sometimes bad roads but those hardships are worth it. El Nido is located on the Bacuit Archipelago and the area is characterized by an overwhelmingly beautiful nature with blue lagoons, small islands and beaches and rising chalk cliffs. It is an ideal environment to fully immerse yourself in the omnipresent nature.
The El Nido Beach hotel is located in the village of El Nido itself, so in the evenings you can visit the company of others, go to a restaurant or entertain yourself in a different way.
Day 9 to 11
From El Nido you take a propeller flight to the city of Cebu and from there you take a normal flight to the city of Dumaguete on the island of Negros. From Negros airport you will be taken to the Thalatta Resort on the coast. Negros offers visitors a unique look at the 'original' Filpijnen: the island found its income from the cultivation of sugar cane and the worldwide consumption of sugar has declined sharply. Now people are busy finding other forms of existence.
Tourism focuses mainly on the coastal towns of this island: the dive sites are unique. The area around Apo Island is a marine nature reserve and seeing sea turtles is almost normal for divers and snorkelers. The Twin Lakes are the natural drinking water supply of the island and the rainforest around these lakes is breathtaking. The local market of the town of Malatapay should be seen if you are in the area.
Day 12 to 14
From Negros you go with a fast boat to the island of Siquijor. This island stands in the Philippines for the 'witch craft' (witches!) Which sometimes scares the other residents. Siquijor has a charm of its own because the island is not yet under the influence of tourism. You will see Spanish buildings, rolling hills and untouched caves here. The sea is known for being very clear on site and that is of course ideal for snorkelers and divers.
The stay at the Coco Grove resort is luxurious: the elongated resort along the coast has three swimming pools and a small park with wild birds.
Day 15 to 18
From Siquijor you take the boat to the town of Tagbilaran on the island of Bohol. You will of course be taken from the seaport to your resort.
Bohol has a nice sandy beach with many resorts and restaurants and at the same time the interior has a lot to offer in the form of the Chocolate Hills, the Baclayon church, the Loboc river. Very special to see are the smallest monkeys in the world: the Tarsier monkeys. If you wish, you can go out to sea to see the dolphins or you can decide to sail a little further and watch the Whale Sharks.
The stay is arranged at the beautiful Linaw Beach Resort if you want to stay in a quiet environment or at the Lost Horizon Resort if you want to be in the middle of 'life'.
You will be taken to Bohol airport and with a domestic flight you will return to Manila. Our driver will take you to the Bayleaf Intramuros for a final overnight stay in the Philippines. You can also choose to stay the last night on the island of Bohol. That of course means that the next day will be a tough one.
Day 20 and 21
Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Manila airport for your international return flight. The next day you will arrive in your departure city again.
